I quickly looked for a foreground element to add for this image and found a pair of floatplanes out at the Juneau International Airport to help frame the image on this September evening

With the macro lens it is possible to get a shallow depth of field (having a few items in focus) which is what I explored in this photograph

Using the buildings in Commons Park as a a foreground element to frame the skyline of Denver was my thought process for this image

The valley between the mountains were filled with wildflowers and we spent many hours photographing and exploring the area

I parked under the arrivals for Denver International and decided to point the camera towards the fast moving clouds above me capturing this image with a thirty second exposure

When it finally snowed in Denver I grabbed my camera and headed out into the elements. This was the largest amount of snowfall which fell from one storm at this in the season making for much excitement to finally receive a good snowfall in the metro area.
